- Carrier: The entity performing the actual physical transportation of goods.
- Shipper/Customer: The entity requesting the services and responsible for the cargo.
- Broker: 1 XTREME PURPOSE LLC, acting as an intermediary to arrange transportation.
3. Brokerage Services
Customer understands that 1 XTREME PURPOSE LLC is a registered Freight Broker. We coordinate and arrange for transportation with authorized motor carriers. We do not personally haul freight but assume the responsibility of vetting and managing third-party carriers to ensure compliance and reliability.
4. Transportation Services
All FTL (Full Truckload) and LTL (Less Than Truckload) services are subject to the specific rules and tariffs of the underlying carrier. We facilitate transshipment and tracking and tracing services to ensure visibility throughout the delivery process.
5. Rates, Quotes, and Payment
Quotes are based on current market rates and information provided by the Customer regarding weight, dimensions, and Incoterms. 1 XTREME PURPOSE LLC reserves the right to adjust final pricing if cargo details differ from the initial quote. Payments are due within 15 days of invoice date unless otherwise specified in writing.
6. Liability and Claims
Liability for loss, damage, or delay is governed by the Carmack Amendment or the specific Carrier's limit of liability. All claims must be filed in writing within 9 months of delivery. 1 XTREME PURPOSE LLC as a broker is not liable for cargo loss but will assist in the claim process with the primary carrier.
